Join "The International Singers"! A course for non-Dutch speaking inhabitants of Utrecht, who wish to sing in a group.
It doesn’t matter which language you speak, music is a language we all understand!
We can use our body and voice as an instrument to communicate this language.
“The International Singers” is a vocal course for non-Dutch speaking inhabitants of Utrecht, who wish to sing in a group.
In this 16 week-course you will learn the signs of ‘Vocal Painting’. With this non-verbal conducting style we create circle songs (like Bobby McFerrin) and (pop)songs.
We might even occasionally sing a Dutch song, which makes it a great way to playfully learn Dutch as well.
The main focus will be on creativity, exploring your musicality and connecting with your group singers.
Vocal teacher Wendy is a singer, body percussionist and music educator. She will finish the post-bachelor ‘Vocal Leadership’ in may 2023.
